My role at Recruitment Robin:

I am a T-Level Legal Services student at NSCG and am currently undertaking my 2-year work placement with Recruitment Robin.  My role includes supporting the director with compliance tasks and general recruitment administration.

What I do outside of Recruitment Robin:

When I’m not at the gym, you’ll usually find me reading a good mystery or crime novel, or watching a comedy movie with Adam Sandler.  

What I have learnt so far:

Simply, lots! I’ve learned about the importance of policies, procedures and contracts within the workplace, the legalities around job advertising and asking the right questions during interview to ensure discrimination does not occur. I’m looking forwards to learning more about the commercial aspects of business and how it ensures compliance.

My future career aspirations:

During my time working with the Recruitment Robin team I have learnt a lot about myself and where my strengths and interests lie. Whilst I feel I’m still on a journey to realising my life calling, I do have a strong passion for commercial law and would love to progress towards a career in this specific area of law.
