A Cheshire based market leading wholesale supplier of premium British made materials and tools is seeking a full-time Accounts and Operations Administrator to support a number of departments across the company with general administrative, customer service and financial tasks.
  
The role offers lots of variation and the opportunity to help the company bring about efficiencies, as well as a competitive salary up to £30,000 per year based on experience.
  
As the Accounts and Operations Administrator your responsibilities will include:
  

  • Sales and purchase order processing.
  • Dealing with customer queries via telephone and email.
  • Order fulfilment management.
  • Quality control and reporting any issues.
  • Credit control and chasing overdue invoices.
  • Supporting other departments and teams as required.
  • Identifying and supporting the implementation of process improvements.

  
The Accounts and Operations Administrator will have the following skills and attributes:
  

  • Strong communication, customer service and organisational skills with a meticulous attention to detail and the ability to read from instructions.
  • IT literate and working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word) and accounting software is essential.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment and manual handling techniques.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work with previous experience in sales, credit control, warehousing, purchasing or operational roles would be a distinct advantage.

  
You will be working from the office in Knutsford between 8.00am – 4.00pm, Monday to Friday, with half an hour for lunch.
  
Appointment will be subject to right to work checks and satisfactory references.
