£120 – £180 PER DAY + CAREER PROGRESSION,

A rapidly expanding design and construction company in Stoke on Trent is seeking a Multi-Skilled Labourer to join an established team to help with the completion of various projects on domestic properties within Staffordshire and South Cheshire.

The role offers regular work at a competitive rate of between £120 – £180 per day, depending on experience, as well as excellent training and career progression opportunities for the right candidate.

As the Multi-Skilled Labourer you will be responsible for:

  • Working on residential property extensions and refurbishments.
  • Carrying out various work including internal rip outs, building stud walls, tiling, joinery, and other general labouring tasks, depending on skillset and experience.
  • Ensuring quality and accuracy is maintained.

The Multi-Skilled Labourer will have the following skills and experience:

  • Good work ethic with excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • A team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Familiarity with Health, Safety and Environment procedures to ensure safety at work.
  • Time-served apprentice or similar experience is essential.
  • CIS registration would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Full UK driving licence, own vehicle and own tools.

You will be working 40 hours per week between 8.30am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, with half an hour for lunch.

The position is initially a sub-contracting role with a view to becoming permanent for the right candidate.

Appointment will be subject to Enhanced DBS checks and satisfactory references.
