An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Assistant Manager to join a chic Golf Club in Leek, to help cultivate the vibrant membership community, ensuring every member’s experience is nothing short of exceptional, and assist with the development of the club to it’s full potential.
  
The role offers excellent training and career progression opportunities as well as a competitive pay and benefits package up to £30,000 per year pro rata.
  
As the Assistant Manager you will be responsible for:
  

  • Supporting the General Manager with back-of-house duties and running an exception operation front-of-house.
  • Delivering financial targets and service standards.
  • Coaching and mentoring the team on shift.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a customer-centric approach.
  • Maintaining company standards and procedures throughout the business.
  • Managing the day-to-day operations in the absence of the General Manager.

  
The Assistant Manager will demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Experience and determination to deliver an incredible hospitable service.
  • Strong background and understanding of the industry with the ability to support the company’s core values.
  • Excellent communication, team management and leadership skills.
  • Hold a personal license.

  
You will be working on-site up to 30 hours per week.  Days and shifts will be agreed during the interview.  Overtime is available if required and based on the needs of the business.
  
Appointment will be subject to DBS and right to work checks and satisfactory references.
