A dynamic domiciliary care provider in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a full-time Care Manager to play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of a children’s care home setting, whilst also contributing to its’ continued growth and development.
  
The position would suit an ambitious individual a background in working with children with learning disabilities, autism, and complex care settings and have strong leadership skills to oversee delivering high-quality care to children and families in the community.
  
As the Care Manager, you will be responsible for:
  

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service to deliver high-quality care to clients.
  • Providing line management to the staff team including recruitment, training, provision and performance management.
  • Arranging staff rosters efficiently and leading office staff effectively to ensure optimal staffing levels are maintained.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients, families and professionals involved in the care of clients.
  • Ensuring compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding and other regulatory bodies.
  • Maintaining accurate records, conducting regular audits, and acting on survey feedback to drive continuous improvement.

  
The Care Manager will have the following skills and attributes:
  

  • Strong communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport at various levels.  
  • Knowledge of case management principles, healthcare management, and reimbursement with a good understanding of CQC regulations is essential.
  • Previous experience working in a management role social care, healthcare or social work would be a distinct advantage.
  • Full UK driving license and use of a vehicle is essential.

  
You will be working up to 40 hours per week from the office in Stoke-on-Trent, Monday to Friday, as well as other locations locally.
  
Appointment will be subject to Enhanced DBS clearance, right to work checks and satisfactory references.
