A rapidly expanding security systems company in Kidlington is seeking a skilled Security Systems Engineer to carry out planned and reactive installations and maintenance works on commercial clients’ premises, throughout the Oxfordshire area.

As the Security Systems Engineer you will be responsible for:
  

  • Installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Fault-finding, troubleshooting and diagnosing problems.
  • Keeping accurate records of all work completed.
  • Attending schedule maintenance visits.
  • Responding to emergency call outs.
  • Reading and understanding site plans and system documentation.

  
The Security Systems Engineer will have the following skills and attributes:
  

  • Experience installing and maintaining Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control Systems is essential.
  • Strong customer-focus with a proactive approach to work and committed to maintaining high standards of workmanship.
  • Effective organisation skills to ensure priorities and deadlines are met.
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence.

  
You will be working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, at various customer sites in the Oxfordshire area, and will be required to provide emergency on-call cover one weekend out of three.
  
Appointment is subject to cleared DBS status and satisfactory references.
