A rapidly expanding design and construction company in Stoke on Trent is seeking a part or fully qualified Architectural Technician to join its’ design team, to work on residential projects around the Staffordshire region.

As the Architectural Technician you will be responsible for:

• Managing projects from concept design through to construction drawings.
• Preparing drawings, planning documents and 3D visuals.
• Liaising with clients, contractors and consultants and providing regular updates.
• Working across all residential design projects including house extensions, loft conversions and new build homes.
• Attending regular site visits.

The Architectural Technician will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• Practical and methodical with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organisation and time management with the ability to multitask.
• Good level of IT literacy with experience using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or similar 3D design software.
• Sound knowledge of UK Building Regs.
• Degree in Architectural Technology or relevant qualification.
• Previous experience working within architecture or a technical role within the residential industry is essential.

You will be working 30 hours per week from the office in Cheadle.  Hours are flexible and will be agreed during the interview.  Full-time hours can be offered after the three-month probationary review.
