Marketing Assistant


A Newcastle under Lyme based sales and marketing agency is seeking a Marketing Assistant to provide marketing and administrative support to the company’s Directors and sales team, on a 9 month fixed term contract covering maternity leave.


The role offers hybrid working and excellent training opportunities, as well as pay up to £22,000 per year.


As the Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for:


  • Managing the company’s social media posts online.
  • Assisting with the promotion of the company’s brands and product list through online marketing campaigns.
  • Receiving and managing customer orders through the internal order management system.
  • Liaising with customers and providing progress updates on orders.
  • Chasing orders with suppliers where necessary.
  • General administration duties as per required.


The Marketing Assistant will have the following skills and attributes:


  • Ambitious and creative individual with strong communication skills and an eagerness to learn.
  • Knowledge of Mailchimp and social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) is highly desirable.
  • Computer literate and experience using Apple Mac equipment/products would be useful.
  • Previous experience working for a marketing agency would be a distinct advantage.
  • Training can be provided on processes and systems.


You will be working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, of which 3 days will be working from the office and 2 days from home.


Appointment will be subject to UK Right To Work checks and satisfactory references.
