Our very own second year T-Level student, Millie Quick, has been named a finalist in the Apprentice of the Year category at the Staffordshire University Business Awards 2025!

This well-deserved recognition celebrates everything that makes Millie such a standout star—from her unwavering dedication and willingness to learn, to her ever-growing confidence and professionalism.

Millie has just completed her Business Management T-Level with Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG) and has been a vital part of the Recruitment Robin team throughout her placement. What began as a shy and quiet introduction to the business world has blossomed into something truly inspiring.

Throughout her placement, she has delivered confident and professional presentations, growing into a natural communicator who isn’t afraid to share her experiences and insights. She has proudly represented Recruitment Robin at networking events, building connections within the local business community, developing her understanding of the professional world.

Her role as a T-Level ambassador has seen her take new students under her wing, offering guidance and support to those just starting their journey. Millie has also played a key part in our employer outreach and placement promotion efforts, helping us spread the word about the benefits of the T-Level programme.

All the while, she’s balanced her placement commitments with exceptional academic performance—proving her dedication, drive, and ability to thrive under pressure.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to be named a finalist,” said Millie. “It’s been such an incredible journey—from starting out as a nervous student to becoming someone who now gets to speak at events and support others starting their own placement. I’m so grateful to Selina and the team at Recruitment Robin for believing in me and giving me such a supportive and inspiring environment to learn in.”

We honestly couldn’t be prouder. Millie is not just a valued team member—she’s a genuine ambassador for the T-Level programme and a shining example of what can be achieved when young people are given the right opportunity to thrive.

The Staffordshire University Business Awards ceremony takes place on Thursday 4th September at the stunning Catalyst building in Stoke-on-Trent. We’ll be there cheering Millie on every step of the way—win or lose, she’s already an award-winner in our eyes.
